Your views on consulting your GP online

NHS England is seeking people's views on consulting GPs online so that the service can be improved and its availability and use can be increased.

Online consultations are a way for patients to contact their GP practice without having to wait on the phone or take time out to come into the practice. 12 local GP surgeries currently offer the service and others are considering whether to adopt it.

There is a short online survey that NHS England has asked us to share with patients. This closes on June 15.

What is a CCG?

A clinical commissioning group is an NHS organisation set up by the Health and Social Care Act 2012 to organise the delivery of NHS services in England.  It is clinically led by GPs and clinical staff who work with patients and are best placed to make decisions about local healthcare commissioning.   Find out more about the CCG
