The NHS in North East Hampshire and Farnham and Public Health England (PHE) are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.

Update on the temporary closure for cleaning of The Ferns Medical Practice, Farnham

The Ferns Medical Practice in Farnham Hospital was temporarily closed on 13 February to enable the surgery to be cleaned as a precautionary measure, after recognising that a patient was seen at the practice premises on 12 February, who had travelled from one of the affected Coronavirus areas.

Temporary closure of local surgery

The Ferns Medical Practice in Farnham Hospital is temporarily closed today (13 February 2020) to enable a clean of the surgery as a precautionary measure. The practice will reopen as soon as possible and patients with existing appointments today will be advised if their appointment needs to be rearranged.
