Temporary closure of local surgery

The Ferns Medical Practice in Farnham Hospital is temporarily closed today (13 February 2020) to enable a clean of the surgery as a precautionary measure. The practice will reopen as soon as possible and patients with existing appointments today will be advised if their appointment needs to be rearranged.

The Ferns Medical Practice has commented that “We can confirm that a patient was seen at the practice premises on the 12 February who had travelled from one of the affected Coronavirus areas. As a precautionary measure, the practice has been closed today, 13 February, for a deep clean before opening again as soon as possible.

"We have been working with our public health teams and would like to inform our patients that all measures are being put in place to assure public and staff safety. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused to patients.”
